Rules and Policies
Check In / Check Out
Check in is at 2 PM Central Time Zone and entitles you to your site until 11 AM the day after check in. Early check-in is not permitted before noon. Checking in between noon and 2pm will result in a $10 early check-in fee. We do not have a waiting area for those checking in early. Check out time is 11AM. Checking out late is permitted until 1PM. If you are checking out after 11:30 until 1pm there will be a $10 late check out fee. Checking out after 1pm will result in another daily rate charge. You do not need to contact the office for check out unless you need to pay for an early check-in or late check out.
Late check-ins are allowed at any time, an envelope with all the information will be attached to the front door of the office.
Please acknowledge and agree to the campground rules and policies on-line before checking in. You should have received an email to check in online.
Race Week: Check in time is 12pm Monday before the race and check out is 11am the Monday following the Sunday Race. If the race is delayed check out time will be 11am on Tuesday.
In the event of the race delay due to inclement weather guests who paid for the week will be allowed one extra day for $35/tax. (Every day after will be charged our regular daily rate.) Guests who paid by the night will be charged our regular nightly rate for any additional nights.
If you are staying in our park for a month or longer, we require an agreement to be signed. Please contact the office at 205-505-2374 for more details.
Cancellation policy
Deposit will be refunded less a $10.00 cancellation fee if cancellation is received up to 24 hours before scheduled arrival date. Cancellations 23 hours or less to scheduled arrival date will result in forfeiture of full deposit.
Race Week: $25 cancellation fee if you cancel 30 days or more before your scheduled arrival. 29 days or less from your scheduled arrival date full deposit is forfeited. Failing to cancel your race week site will result in the card on file being charged for the full week’s amount on the Monday of race week.
Site Changes
You have been assigned a specific site, if you wish to move, please check with the office. Due to reservations and maintenance, moving may not be possible. Please inquire before moving sites.
Campsite policies
One RV per campsite and a limit of 2 vehicles allowed per campsite.
Sleeping tents are not permitted on your campsite, unless approved by the owners.
Limit of 4 guest per RV campsite, additional guest are $10.00 day/night.
No refunds for early check out.
Never drain grey or black water out onto the ground. If your site does not have sewer there is a dump station with 1 free dump. Additional dumps are $25.00.
Please be sure your site is clean and vacated by departure time. There should never be trash in or around the fire ring. Dumpsters are located beside the dump station as you exit the park.
Do not put bagged trash in the trashcans located around the park.
Washing RVs or vehicles is only permitted with a bucket of water and a sponge. Hose washing is not permitted.
Open Fires
Small campfires are allowed in designated fire rings. Grandstand RV Park firewood ONLY. If your site does not have a fire ring, please call 205-505-2374 and we will bring you one. Must extinguish fire properly. Campfires are never to be left unattended.
Wood ONLY in the fire rings. Do not burn trash of any kind.
Parking
Please do not park your vehicle, trailer, or boat in an adjacent site. Use of more than one site will result in additional charges. Do not park vehicles, trailers, or boats in your site’s grass area. You will need to park in the gravel behind your RV or across the road from your site. Please contact us for additional information.
Storage
Storage is not allowed under or around your RV or picnic table.
Park Navigation
Please be respectful of your neighbor and do not walk between or through sites when navigating the park. Please use main roads, to walk around the campground.
DO NOT drive on the grass or through campsites. USE GRAVEL ROADS!
Follow the arrows around the park and use the roads correctly. To exit the park, you will use the road that has the dump station and dumpster.
Rugs
Rugs are not allowed in the grass area at your site as it kills the grass, and we want your site to look good for both you and the next guest.
Pet Policies
Pets are welcome! We love all pets. All pets must be leashed unless in designated dog parks. You are required to clean up after your pets. You are always 100% responsible for your pets. Grandstand RV Park, 3 M&T Investments, LLC will not be held liable or responsible for any incident involving pets.
Pets are never to be tied, crated, or left unattended outside your RV at any time.
Pets are never to be left alone or unattended while in the dog park. You must always be in the dog park fence with your pets.
Pets are not permitted in the office, swimming pool area, on playground equipment or in the bathhouse.
Pets are never to be tied to a tree, picnic table or any other property on premise while using one of the facilities.Pet Vaccinations Due to Insurance Requirements, all pets must be vaccinated in our park. Please make sure your pet’s shots are up to date.
Excessive barking is not tolerated and disturbs your neighbors. Please note that excessive barking may result in you being asked to leave without refund.
Vehicle Policies
The Speed Limit is 15mph coming up the driveway from Speedway Blvd, once you reach the park the speed limit is 5mph.
The park speed limit is 5 mph. This policy is to keep you, your children, and your pets safe. Exceeding this speed limit will result in a warning. Multiple warnings will require us to ask you to leave. Safety is our number one priority for our guests.
Golf carts
Golf carts and side by sides are permitted. They must be insured, and the office will need a copy of your golf cart insurance on file. ONLY licensed individuals aged 16 years or older can drive golf carts.
No four wheelers allowed in the park.
Swimming Pool Policies
Pool hours are from 9am-8pm.
No lifeguard on duty, swim at your own risk.
The swimming pool is 4ft deep and has seats in the pool to sit on the edge, use latter or step with railing to enter and exit the pool.
No diving, running, jumping into the pool or horseplay in or around the pool.
Read all swimming pool rules posted around the pool area.
No glass in the fenced in swimming pool area.
No food allowed in the swimming pool itself or sitting on the edge of the pool. You are permitted to have food at one of the tables in the fenced in the swimming pool area.
Minors 14 years of age or younger must always be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult. They are not permitted to be in the fenced in pool area alone at any time.
Children in diapers are not allowed in our pool. Only swimming suits and swimming trunks permitted in our pool, no cut offs.
You must exit the pool area if lightning or bad weather approaches.
General Park Policies
Quiet hours are from 10pm-7am Sunday-Thursday and 12am-7am on Friday and Saturday. Please report any disturbance to 205-505-2374. More than one disturbance during your stay and you will be asked to leave the park immediately without refund.
Bathhouse is available for use 24/7. The bathhouse code will be issued upon arrival.
One adult per room.
Showers are limited to 10 minutes max. Room can be occupied for up to 30 minutes.
Read bathhouse rules posted in each room.
Minors 14 years or younger must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Guests abusing bathhouse rules will be asked to leave the park immediately without a refund.Alcohol beverages are permitted; however, display of drunkenness is strictly prohibited. Must be of the legal drinking age to consume alcohol on Grandstand RV Park property. The law will be called if caught consuming or giving alcohol to a minor. Parents are not permitted to give their children under the age of 21 alcohol in the state of Alabama.
Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited.
Minors 14 years of age or younger must always be accompanied by a responsible adult.
No public display of firearms and no fireworks of any kind permitted.
Photos may be taken during your stay to be used on our website. Grandstand RV Park will not grant any compensation for use of any photo.
No disorderly behavior or language will be tolerated. After the first warning you will be asked to leave immediately without refund.
The laundry facility on-site is available for use 24/7. The door code will be given upon arrival. They are quarter operated machines. Quarters available upon request from 8am-9pm.
Do not dispose of wires, oil, furniture, mattresses, or any toxic waste or chemicals in our trash cans or dumpster.
Failure to adhere to this rule may result in charges for disposal fees.
Clotheslines are not permitted at your site or in Grandstand RV Park.
Long term guests are required to stop by the front office to sign the long-term guest rules and policies.
We do not allow the delivery of any personal mail; Grandstand RV Park is not your permanent address/home. Guests can have a box shipped to the campground which will be left on the front porch of the office for you to pick up.
All Motorhomes, RVs or Travel Trailers must be in good working order and appearance and be 10 years of age or newer for stays longer than 1 night.
We reserve the right to refuse access to any guests whose vehicle is deemed to be unacceptable.
You are responsible for all your family and guests. Be sure to go over rules and policies with each of them.
Severe Weather
In case of severe weather, seek shelter in the bathhouse. This IS NOT a tornado shelter; however, it is the safest building in the park.

Electrical Use
You are responsible for understanding how many amps you are using in your RV. Amp usage over the 50 AMPs provided can trip your breaker. Please be mindful of your amp usage, so that you don’t trip your breaker during your stay. Please notify the office so that we can check ut any electrical issues during your stay. Guests are not permitted to diagnose our electrical pedestals per insurance and safety requirements. Owners are happy to help. Even if you are an electrician, laws prohibit you from working on our pedestals unless hired to do so.
Safety and Emergencies
Emergency Contact Information forms are required from all monthly guests. This information remains private and used only when a situation arises when we need to contact someone in the event of an emergency or is sought by law enforcement agencies. We never give personal information out to others. If you observe any activity you believe to be of concern, call 205-505-2374 24 hours a day. (No soliciting is allowed.) If you need to call 911 for any reason, and time allows, please call the office so the owners or staff can be prepared to escort the emergency personnel to your site.
Grandstand RV Park, 3M&T Investments, LLC Owners or staff will not be held responsible, liable for or take any ownership for any personal injury, death, theft, damage or destruction to guest, guest guests, guest animals, or guest property while on Grandstand RV Park premise.
We reserve the right to evict any person(s) who does not comply with the rules and policies.
